Egon Berghout, Peter Schuurman and I wrote a paper called “Benchmarking IT Benefits – Exploring Outcome and Process Based Approaches” for AMCIS, the Americas Conference On Information Systems in San Francisco. The paper was accepted in the Proceedings and we were invited to present our research at the conference.
Together with 11 Housing Associations Marnix van Welie and I created an industry-wide Enterprise IT Reference Architecture (in Dutch) called “CORA” (Corporation Reference Architecture).
At M&I/Partners and together with NetwIT and Futura, Pim van den Broek and me surveyed 34 Housing Associations and performed two case studies on Sustainable Business and Green IT. Our research report is in Dutch and is called “Van ambitie naar actie – Duurzame bedrijfsvoering en groene ICT bij woningcorporaties” (“Ambition to Action – Sustainable Business and Green IT for Housing Associations”).
For the young professionals at ‘Jonge Veranderaars‘ (part of Railforum, Nederlandse Spoorwegen), I held an introductory talk about co-creation, crowd sourcing and social media. And how these concepts relate to each other. I created the presentation in Prezi (in Dutch).
Pim van den Broek and me published another article on Green IT and Sustainability in Dutch called “Van ambitie naar actie“ (“Ambition to Action”). This time in CorporatieGids Magazine, edition 1 2011, p 8-9.
After performing a survey and doing qualitative research on Green IT and Sustainability in the Housing Associations Industry Pim van den Broek and me published an article in Dutch called “Vragen over groene ICT” (“Questions about Green IT”) in Aedes Magazine 3 2011, p 14.
Together with Antoon van Luxemburg and other colleagues at M&I/Partners we created the Social Media Maturity Model (S3M). This was published on the website www.socialmediamodellen.nl.
For several years I did a guest lecture on “Information Economics in Practice” for students in Economics & Informatics at the Erasmus University Rotterdam.
Together with Peter van Dijk and Jos Smits I wrote an article on the costs and benefits of IT partnerships for Municipalities. The article is in Dutch and is called “De zeven valkuilen van shared service centra bij gemeenten“ (“The Seven Pitfalls of Municipal Shared Service Centers”) and was published in TIEM 2.0 Magazine, July 2011, p 50 – 55.
Together with Ies van Rij I created a ‘Quick Reference Card‘ (in Dutch), summarizing the benchmark results of 10 years of IT Costs and Benefits Benchmarking in the Housing Association Industry.
After having made a Business Case for the implementation of a hospital-wide EMR, my colleagues and I at M&I/Partners did an after-go-live measurement of the outcome. We published the results in a Dutch article called “EPD levert een besparing op van 10 procent” (“Efficiency gain of 10 percent with EMR”) in Magazine Zorgvisie (ICTzorg).
